The ACEI homepage employs bright colors and an organized layout to display a vast amount of information in a clear, visually pleasing manner. An interactive slideshow featuring vibrant images of children and educators engaged in the learning/teaching process supports the sites message of the importance of global education for children. Prominent call-to-actions urging visitors to join ACEI, sign up for the News and Events email list, connect via social media, register for upcoming events, and learn more about the featured publication, The Earth is Our Home and featured program, Institute for International Education Diplomacy encourages users to interact with the website. RSS feed integration on the home page a link to the ACEI radio network and downloadable broadcast archives further engages site visitors.
Blue Water Media also updated the ACEI website from WordPress to the award-winning Joomla content management system. This will allow ACEI staff to easily update and add to the site independently of Blue Water Media. This capability will be crucial as the organization continues to grow and produce new content in their efforts to provide children across the globe with a quality education.
