Terran Marketing, which gives a human touch to online marketing, made a splash this week by announcing the purchase of IRA.com. Terran Marketing already owns a variety of websites, including OnlineStorage.com, OnlineDegree.com, GraphicDesign.com, WPThemes.net, JoomlaTemplates.com, FreeWP.com, and more.
Terran hopes that IRA.com, which provides an abundance of information about Roth IRAs, traditional IRAs, and rollover IRAs, among other topics, will become a staple of its portfolio going forward. Terran Marketing closed on IRA.com on September 1st with the help of Derek Giordano, who assisted in brokering the deal.
In preparation for the purchase of IRA.com, Terran Marketing officials wrote over 100 articles, created a brand new website design, turned the new design into a WordPress theme, and added hundreds of 301 redirects. The new design of IRA.com utilizes a green and blue theme and offers easy-to-find resources for topics like opening an IRA, rolling over an IRA, or finding an expert.
Also to be highlighted on the new IRA.com are the contribution limits, articles to determine whether an IRA is worthwhile for a persons long-term financial success, and a rollover guide.
A website devoted to IRAs made perfect sense for Terran Marketing, which features Mike Jackness as its CEO and Jim Varnon as its COO. IRA.com is already attracting 1,000 unique visitors per day and ranks fourth for the Google search term IRA.
Jackness commented that IRA.com has not even seen the tip of the iceberg when it comes to its traffic: There has been about a 100% gain in traffic since we took the site over that was just two months ago. I’m really excited to see what we can do with this site over the next two months as we head into IRA season, which is January through April. Jackness added that the site is unquestionably a seven-figure domain name in terms of value.
There are plenty of additional features in the works for IRA.com under the sites new ownership. Terran Marketing plans to introduce a robust, unique retirement calculator and planner. The planner will ask each user a series of pertinent retirement and earnings-related questions. Then, according to Jackness, It will put together a custom report that they can use to plan their financial future. This is something I’m really excited about and think will be the cornerstone of the site as we move forward.
Also planned for IRA.com are a Financial Expert Directory that already has 200 professionals pre-registered and an Ask a Question section.
