Calvary Bible Chapel, a Non-Denominational Christian bible believing assembly Church located in Macomb, Michigan. Church goers are from all around the south east Michigan area. Calvay Bible Chapel and its congregation meet together every week for the purpose of celebrating and growing in our knowledge and relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Just 2 weeks after Calvary Bible Chapel opened its website, there has been quite a lot of traffic coming to the site. While the church is located in Michigan, statistics show that traffic is coming in from all parts of the United States. We think that the increase in national traffic to our website is largely due to the press releases that we did on the site a few weeks prior, the RSS feed, as well as the free resources that we are providing people with on the website such as free mp3 audio downloads of sermons, says Web Production Director, Jeremy Krakowski. Since its inception, the website has even seen people join as website members all the way from as far as San Diego, CA.
Web Production Director, Jeremy Krakowski, of Desire To Design and CCFilms, decided to try a new method for Calvary Bible Chapel to help cover running costs of the website. He implemented Googles marketing campaigns, Google AdSense, Pay-Per-Click advertising on the website I have placed the ads in strategic locations on the website such as the side bar and in the forum. I also placed colorful ads in the forum in the color yellow. This by far is much better than plain white ads says Krakowski. He adds, I will be eager to see just what becomes of it. Calvary Bible Chapel hopes that the Google AdSense ads will help to cover the running cost of the website as well as the building of a church building for the congregation.
Calvary Bible Chapel is being hosted on a Linux server through an independent hosting company called DTDSolutions. They offer low cost web hosting and domain names to anyone! The website uses the Joomla! Open Source CMS, running through PHP and MySQL.
