Digital Axle has added Lisa Vella Snelling to its growing roster of digital marketing consultants. Snelling joins the Digital Axle team of specialized digital industry experts as Digital Media Consultant.

“Lisa is the rare media professional who is equally comfortable working in a traditional media buying role as she is with a more entrepreneurial approach where we take a stake in our clients’ marketing efforts,” said Bruce Carlisle, Digital Axle’s CEO. He added, “We expect her to help grow both our classic media buying relationships as well as our own owned and operated lead generation sites.”

Before joining Digital Axle, Lisa managed search marketing and display campaigns for TechWeb – UBM Technology. She managed more than $ 1,000,000 in annual search marketing campaigns for TechWeb’s top clients including InformationWeek, bMighty and Business Innovations. Her focus in search marketing is mostly B2B and B2C IT technology products.

Commenting on joining the Digital Axle team, Lisa said, “I’m delighted to be joining an organization that encourages maximum flexibility in approach whether it’s CPC, CPM or CPA.” She added, “This allows us to innovate and initiate media deals that simply wouldn’t be possible in a classic agency environment.”

Prior to her work with TechWeb, Lisa was the Director of Client Services for WiseClick Media, a New York City-based online agency. Lisa also spent four years at San Francisco web publisher LookSmart as Strategic Planner.

Lisa was initially trained in online media planning and buying at SF Interactive, (acquired by Butler, Shine Stern & Partners in 2003) where she rose to the position of Media Supervisor, working on lead generation, customer acquisition and branding campaigns for VeriSign, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Microsoft, HomeGrocer.com and several other national companies.

Lisa is a graduate of San Diego State University and resides near Madison, Wisconsin
