Scott Fresener, co-author of the book How To Print T-Shirts for Fun and Profit and director of T-Biz Network International has announced the re-introduction of his popular hands-on T-Shirt Screen Printing Workshop. In a career spanning more than 30 years, Scott has taught over 14,000 students the technical and business side of printing T-Shirts. The new course will be held at the Rio Suites Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, Tuesday, September 28 through Thursday, September 30th.

This completely hands-on class covers everything from how to create artwork, to screen making, all about inks and curing, setting up a press, printing techniques, how to print on nylon jackets, caps, towels, and other fabric items, and a lot more. Scott will also spend time on the business of owning a T-Shirt screen printing company, including marketing and selling, creating a Web site, pricing guidelines, health and safety concerns, shop setup, and more.

Scott will also share the latest trends and techniques, such as how to use the popular discharge and water-based inks, foil, puff, glitter, and how to do all-over prints. Plus, techniques taught in this class can easily be transferred to non-textile items like signs, posters, banners, and other substrates.

T-Shirt Screenprinting is designed for people starting a business, wanting to launch a T-shirt line, or even veteran printers who want to learn the proper and more efficient ways to do things. According to Fresener, “In the past few years we saw a trend for people wanting to have their own line of shirts on the internet. With the way the economy is T-shirt printing presents a great second income business that can easily grow into a full-time venture. And, it is really a fun business to be in!”

The class fee is $ 495 per person, and group discounts are available. For more information, or to register, call 800-876-2472 (732-223-7878 for international calls) or go to http://www.airbrushaction.com .

Other courses include Automotive Cheap Tricks and Special F/X, Achieving Photorealism, Automotive Murals on Steel, Pin-Up Art, Power Portraits, Airbrush Mastery, Pinstriping, and T-Shirt Airbrushing for Fun & Profit. The workshops are conducted by some of the world’s top talent, including Javier Soto, Dru Blair, Jonathan Pantaleon, Terry Hill, Jerry Ott, Lorenzo Sperlonga, Jonathan Pantaleon, Ray Hill, and other well-known artists.

Sponsored by Airbrush Action magazine, Iwata Airbrush Company, Createx, Auto-Air, Anest Iwata, SEM, and Coast Airbrush, the Airbrush Getaway Workshops launch careers by teaching how to profit handsomely in art despite self-perceived artistic limitations. A comment echoed by many Getaway alumni is that more is learned in four days at an Airbrush Getaway than in four years in college. Joe Stanford, of Grass Lake, Michigan, thought he had finally reached airbrush nirvana. “One day you see a celebrity artist in Airbrush Action magazine, and the next day he’s looking over your shoulder helping you. That’s priceless. A lot of people might be leery of attending a Getaway because they don’t know anyone, but it’s like you’re a part of this huge family as soon as you walk in. There are no cliques or egos. Where else can you find all this amazing talent under one roof?”

All the necessary equipment, materials, and supplies are included.
