Redwood City, CA (PRWEB) September 17, 2009

Pierry Interactive (http://www.pierryinteractive.com), a Redwood City interactive agency, today announced a new partnership with Cherlene Wright, a candidate for Redwood City Council. Cherlene Wright has retained Pierry Interactive to provide email marketing for the Committee to Elect Cherlene Wright(http://www.cherlenewright.com).

“We brought Pierry Interactive on board to help get the word out and because Pierry Interactive is a certified ExactTarget. Using email to not only reach voters, but get their feedback is a step forward in campaigning” said Cherlene. “As I am out precinct walking and participating in candidate forums, voters are commenting about the emails they have received. It is easy to see the immediate results of this type of campaigning with the emails, survey submissions and public feedback I am receiving.”

“We are really excited to be working with Cherlene,” said Josh Pierry, CEO of Pierry Interactive. “We love the opportunity to work with the local community, especially when we can help bring new technology to the political process – and Cherlene’s 40% open rate is great when compared to traditional mailings that only get a 2-5% return rate. It seems people in Redwood City really want to be engaged with the political process and email is the method they prefer.”
