Co-Founder of Dream Systems Media Selected to Serve as Member of Founding Board of Directors for New Non-Profit Business League, SLC SEM Inc.

David Mink, a co-founder of the Utah based internet marketing firm, Dream Systems Media, has been selected to serve as one of the founding board members for SLC SEM Inc., a new non-profit business league designed to bring together the hundreds of online marketing specialists in the state of Utah who are engaged in search marketing activities at any level.

SLC SEM’s expected membership will range from small businesses to large corporate enterprises and already includes a number of recognizable, consumer focused brands and e-commerce businesses that call Utah home. SLC SEM is part of a growing group of not for profit business leagues that are popping up around the country in other cities such as Portland and Dallas to provide a local platform for cities with large numbers of online marketing enthusiasts to network together and receive top-notch training close to home.

With a background as a licensed attorney in the state of Utah and a founder of DSM, who also regularly speaks at search engine centric conventions (currently slated to speak at Pubcon Las Vegas 2011 and Pubcon Hawaii in February of 2012), Mink is an ideal candidate for this position on the SLC SEM board.

I am honored to serve on the board of SLC SEM. The search marketing community in and around Salt Lake City is extremely strong and I look forward to helping bring high-level training opportunities closer to home.
